When someone doesn't check in on time, the system needs to know who to call, in what order, and what to do if they don't answer. I built the platform that manages all of it - alerts, escalation, contact hierarchies, notifications.
Software That Can't Afford to Be Wrong
Acticheck provides welfare monitoring for people living alone - elderly residents, vulnerable adults, people recovering from illness. They check in at agreed times, and if they don't, something might be wrong. The system needs to respond immediately, reliably, every single time.
I built the web platform that manages the entire monitoring workflow. Configurable check-in schedules that accommodate the reality of people's lives - not everyone checks in at the same time or with the same frequency. Multi-level contact hierarchies, because when someone doesn't respond, you try their neighbour before you call 999. Automated escalation paths that work through the contact list methodically, leaving nothing to chance.
The staff dashboard gives a clear, at-a-glance view of who's checked in and who hasn't without drowning in data. Real-time notifications keep the right people informed at the right time. And the reporting side - audit trails, compliance records, evidence that the system is doing what it should - is baked in from the start, not bolted on as an afterthought. Care providers and the NHS need that paper trail. It has to be there.
